    SENSITIVE

Dearest Holly, how courageous you are and then again who knows what is right around the corner. If a cure can be found you know darn well our Percy will find it. No pressure on you, Percy. Although I do believe as you do, Holly, best to be prepared. I like the term, putting my house in order. Holly, I have a few more if you would like them for your book. After all I am not published. I can e mail them to you if you like, just let me know. One more thing, is your husband a believer? I don’t mind emailing you my log of Teddy’s visits. You see, I feel IF the time comes, and who knows when or where, just seeing how Teddy sticks around has erased any fear of death I ever had. I mean if so many of our believers have had similiar events, who are we to say there is no after life. Feel free to email me about anything, if you like. Sending you a ton of love!

Oh, thank you so much for the quotation! I am saving this for my little scrapbook (which also has lots of Lainy poems in it) for my beloved, my soulmate, my husband, … and for my three children (14 to 23) when I go. I wish sometimes that my husband would get on this site because ultimately maybe he could find solace here, but he won’t. Dear Clare, I hope you will keep coming back as often as you can to find love and support. I am so sorry about your young and brave sister, and also about how fast she declined. I have been thinking of you and your family all day. May each day bring you a little more comfort and a little less grief.

Thank you everyone. Holly, there is a bit more to the quote that comes prior to what I posted. After what you said about your dad’s beliefs I thought you might like it. Keep well too -(I read your post on the other thread).

“All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people. For some, who are travelers, the stars are guides. For others they are no more than little lights in the sky. For others, who are scholars, they are problems… But all these stars are silent. You-You alone will have stars as no one else has them… In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars will be laughing when you look at the sky at night..You, only you, will have stars that can laugh! And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me… You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure… And your friends will be properly astonished to see you laughing as you look up at the sky!”

What a beautiful poem and tribute to your sister. May we all look up and think of our loved ones as one of those stars. I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Such a lovely, poetic passage. We are all made of elements forged in the stars – – my father the physicist always reminded us as children that were are literally the stuff of stardust. Thank you for sharing this. I am sorry to hear of your sister and sorry for her suffering. Many condolences to you and your family and special hugs to you from your friends here.

Oh, Clare that was absolutely beautiful and if you don’t mind I would like to think that Teddy has a Star for me. I have said I see him in the moon, but I think now you turned me on to stars! Stay well and stay in touch, hugs coming your way!

For my brave sister who died on the 17th March 2013. Like to many others, she endured more in 5 short months than anyone should ever have too.

“You – you alone will have the stars as no one else has them…In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night…You – only you – will have stars that can laugh. And when your sorrow is comforted (time soothes all sorrows) you will be content that you have known me. You will always be my friend. You will want to laugh with me. And you will sometimes open your window, so, for that pleasure . . . And your friends will be properly astonished to see you laughing as you look up at the sky!”
