    Hi Suzanne:

I’m on irinotecan (CPT-11) as well….just finished my second cycle and head back in for my next dose on 1/4. Originally it was combined with 5-FU, but at my last treatment it looked like I was having an allergic reaction, so we’ll try it with Xeloda and see if the pill form is something my body will tolerate.

I, too, appear to be having success so far. After the first treatment, my CA19-9 went from 90 to 68 and I’ll know next week if that trend continues. I can’t stand the side effects, but that’s just stuff we deal with when we think about the alternative. Here’s to us continuing to kick cancer in the rear!

    Great news! Keep it coming…

As far as the new ‘coiffure’, there may be a rock band needing a new lead singer. Just thinking…

    God Bless!

Hi Suzanne, that is such great news. I love waking up in the morning to things like that. I always look upon very short hair as an instant face-lift! Keep up the good work and please do let us hear from you.

Hi Suzanne….how wonderful it is to hear from you. Congratulations on the stabile and shrinking tumors. Great news!
I bet that you look as cute as ever with that new hair cut. And, please, don’t let us wait to so long to hear from you. We miss you.
    Best wishes,

Latest scans show no new tumor growth and 2 of the PITA (aka: pain in the ass) tumors have shrunk a bit! That was a good Christmas present!

I had my 5th cycle today, bumped up to 70 percent dosage. I’ll just keep keeping on until i get to 85 percent.

Had to buzz my hair…first time in 2 1/2 years that i’ve had a major hair loss issue. Oh well…guess it was my turn. now i have a cool spiky ‘do. LOL at least washing and drying the hair is faster!
