Jean-without putting a damper on things, my father-in-law passed away march 5th-he had been unable to take anything by mouth and was on TPN. It was infection that took him. As for the Ambrotose-is is absolutely not a substitute for chemo. you are correct-it is a nutritional supplement that seems to help many with various ailments. Hope things are well with you.

Dear Chris — Was wondering if Ambrotose is a nutritional supplement or is it supposed to be a substitute for chemo? Nice to know that it is helping your father-in-law.

My father-in-law said that it made he feel “new again” with increased enery levels, appetite and just a general sense of well being.He knew quite a bit about the make-up of the supplement, unfortunately I do not. I do know that it replaces essential sugars in the body. He had friends with many different types of ailments that benefitted from the use of Ambrotose. The manufacturer’s name is Mannatech or Mannetech-I am not sure of the spelling. Hope this helps.

Hi Chris, My wife, Patty, has just been diagnosed with inoperable CC and opted not to have chemo or radiation. We were told, by a friend, about ambrotose. Sorry, I don’t know anything about IV administration. As a matter of fact, I am writing to you because you are the first one I have come across that knows something about Ambrotose. We are trying IP-6 right now and want to start on the Ambrotose if it holds any promise. We would like to know more details about your father-in-law taking it and how did it help him? Patty is in the hospital for the fourth time with problems with infections in her biliary drains. We are looking for any natural healing methods that are not “qackery”. There is so much misery and heart ache with chemo. In almost all cases, the tumors seem to come back. Patty just does not want to go through that. She wants quality of life or no life at all.
TedHas anyone heard of Ambrotose administered intravenously? My father in law has been taking it for a while(powder form) and says it works wonders for him. He is no longer able to tolerate anything by mouth. He said he read an article awhile ago on this subject and asked that if it came the point where he is right now he would want that.
