julie, I am a new member so I really don’t have answers, but if you read the posts on this site you will learn so much about this type of cancer. I have just recently started posting and I have little experience, but the people who post here have medical treatment and drug treatment experience. Hi, I’m Julie. My mom was just diagnosed on Sunday. I have so many questions.
Apparently the portion of her bile duct affected is in her liver, so her blood will not clot. Her bile duct is also clogged so she has 2 tubes draining the bile.
She is supposed to see an oncologist before Thanksgiving.
I am overwhelmed…she seems okay with dying. She just turned 57…too young to die.
What’s next? I don’t think she is a candidate for surgery until the bile is draining properly.
