That is so disappointing – part of the “roller coaster ride” we all got for free when we joined these ranks, I suppose. I hope for a great new plan from your “gurus’. Sending good thoughts your way.

    G. So sorry to hear this. When you were mentioning the “special” MRI were you refering to a 3D MRI? Crossing my fingers for a new, great plan of action.

    Hi all,

Yesterday, I spent 7 hours at a “special” MRI lab that specializes in liver scans — they ended up scanning my pelvis and lungs as well since we were getting along for such a long time. Unfortunately they didn’t confirm the clean peritoneal laparoscopy results I had receive 6 weeks ago. It looks like the tumors are still there, though hidden behind adhesions and organs and getting a bit bigger. I hadn’t had chemo in 3 months.

I am disappointed, but not surprised as I have been having quite a bit of pain lately and have had decreased appetite.

So, the radiologist, oncologist and surgeon are going to consult with each other and then I will find out what the next options are.

    G
