It’s nice to meet another caregiver here You have a very special young lady and if anyone deserves a break it is her. When I told my husband about Lauren and her mom Pam he was at first very upset then very happy to see her results. I read the good ones to him all the time and I know it and everyone’s prayers help. In april the Dr said that they would just keep my husband as comfortable as they could for the time he had and it was like he was deaf. He just kept saying to her when do we start chemo and it is jan and he is still here preparing for the next hill to climb. Give Lauren and her mom a hug for me and maybe we can help all of us caregivers support and beat this monster

Lauren is very lucky to have you in her life, her mom said you are a barber and you even cut her hair and I find that so sweet. And you two are so young to have already been together for 7 years! Young love is a splendid thing!

I am pleased to see Lauren has such wonderful support in her mom and you. My husband is definitely my stone going through all of this. I would be lost without him. Welcome aboard (but sorry you have to be here.)
Giovanni-Welcome, I am a CC survivor, 2 years cancer free!! There is HOPE!. It is so good to see you post, we have all followed Lauren’s journey and know how much love she is surrounded by. Gio-(I feel we can call you that because Pam has made us feel like family) since you have been a cancer caretaker for 6 years, you know the answer is prayers, more prayers, and lots of love!!

Lots of prayers-CathyGiovanni!!! I’m so glad to see a post from you! I am 32 with CC. I’ve read all about Lauren’s situation. Pam is on here often and although I wish this wasn’t happening to Lauren, I always look forward to Pam’s updates. Lauren is always in my prayers and I wish you all the very best.

Dearest Giovanni, welcome to our family although we feel we already know you as your reputation precedes you! Lauren is very lucky to have a boyfriend who is so highly regarded by her Mom, Pam. I might add that your Dad is lucky as well to have a son like you. We certainly can use your Prayers, the Prayer box is never full enough. Just being there for Lauren is really the best thing you can do and you are doing it well. I have Granddaughter who is almost 20 and when she picks her love of life, I hope it’s someone like you!

PamHello everyone my name is Giovanni I am 24 years old, my girlfriends name is Lauren she is just 25 and has been battling CC for 4 months now. When I first heard the news I was just in shock… and I still am till this day! She is so beautiful and special to me, there are many things I guess you could call her. My best friend or even my High school sweetheart, Heck she is the love of my LIFE! I knew the first time we met that she was the one! The support she has from her family to her friends is AMAZING!! Her mother Pam God love her is a saint Always taking her up to Michigan for her chemo, making sure she is taking her medicine, And just checking on her from time to time to make sure she is ok. Pam has posted on here many times. BOTH of them are wonderful people with such kind hearts.
Also I would like everyone to know not only do I pray for Lauren every night and day … I also pray for every one with CC, or anyone living with some type of cancer. I have been doing it for my farther for the past 6 yrs and he is doing great my heart goes to all of you. Such wonderful, beautiful, AMAZING people! All of you keep your heads up and stay strong!
