Dear VWallis, I am so very sorry about your sister. It is wonderful that you got to spend the Holidays together making memories for a lifetime. It is so sad when anyone gets CC but somehow it makes me even more sad that it is hitting quite a few younger people. I know its easier said then done but be need to be strong for her and for her children. I always tell myself I go through a crisis very strong, I have time to fall apart later. I hope the ONC can get her more comfortable as that is the bottom line. In the meantime keep making those memories and share your love. Please keep us posted, we care.

So sorry to hear about your sister. I have a sister who I am very close to, so I can just imagine what you are going through. It is so difficult when someone so young is afflicted with this awful disease. She is lucky to have you in her life. I am glad she was able to spend the holidays with her family. Thoughts and prayers…..Nancy

My sister has stage IV CC. She just turned 35. She was diagnosed last April. In June they told her she had six weeks to live. She is still alive. She made it through the holidays, our last together, her last with her two young children. This past month her body keeps filling with fluid and she has to have her abdomen drained every other week. Her kidneys are also hurting her. I’m not sure what this means, but I know it cannot be good. She is going to see her oncologist. I just hate this. She is keeping a positive attitude. We are all still in shock of her even having cancer. My prayers go out to everyone in this family. I ask that God bless us all with comfort and faith.
