Thanks for the info. I too am on an acid blocker. I will be starting xeloda again soon so I will ask my doctor about it. Not fair that a cancer that causes so many acid problems has its treatment affected by its remedy.

I have been on an acid blocker ever since I started taking Tarceva in September 2009 (first generic Omeprazole, then Nexium). I learned last week (May 2010) that these medications highly affect the absorption of Tarceva. Apparently, this information came out in 2008, but the inserts that came with my medication are dated 2007 and do not mention this. Below is a link that mentions this specific interaction.
