    Hi,Gavin,
To make it short after I read the above article about the relationship between stem cells and intrahepatic CC;as the author indicated even though recent studies suggest that some ICC could arise from liver stem cells rather than from mature cholangiocytes(ie: as in the mixed type of HCC and ICC);Currently there is not enough data to make a statement regarding a stem cell origin of ICC and further immunohistochemical characteristics related to the expression of hepatic stem cell markers in ICC should be elucidated or clarified.
    God bless.

    Hi,
May be all that are just scarring tissues in the lung and nothing else.
I will say a prayer for your mom.
    Take good care of yourself.
    God bless.

    Hi Percy,

I’m okay thanks. Not been able to be around here as much as usual these last few weeks as things are pretty hectic here. I’ve needed to be at my mums a lot more these last few weeks so not able to spend as much time at the pc or here as much as I would like to. She is making a good recovery from her heart attack in general but has had a bad few weeks just now. And we are just waiting right now on her getting her app through for her follow up CT scan. She had one the last time she was in the hospital and they want to do another one in a few months time to see if the lung spots and scarring have grown any. They suspect it could be lung cancer but we will just have to wait and see about that.

How are things with you? I hope that you are making a speedy recovery from your last resection and that you are taking it easy, one day at a time! Thanks for all of the research that you do, it is so valuable and helpful to us all. Yes the link that I posted is long, and like you I found it very interesting as well.

I will say hi to my mum from you, and I hope that you are enjoying the summer sun!

    My best wishes to you,

    Gavin

I am still reading the above link of that stem cell article, very interesting but I am still working on it. it is long and I need to go back to study the current biology principles before to have a complete understanding about the whole picture;Thank for your research.
Say Hi to your parents for me.
    God bless.
