Yes I do know how you are feeling right now and what you are going through. I lost my dad to CC about a month ago and I miss him so much and think about him each day.
I will keep you and your family in my close thoughts.

Dear Patsy,
I know what you are feeling as do all of us who have lost a loved one to CC. I too feel they are always with us.
Lainy, you did it again those words also comfort me when I am down. I feel they are so true.

DarlaDearest Patsy, while I cannot put myself in your shoes, I do believe that your daddy is all around you and you just need to look for the signs. Others have found this little piece of prose to be helpful:
You will grieve my loss, but I have not gone. My body is beyond your reach, but my soul is touching yours. I am the one who enters your dreams. Caresses your face Hugs you. Misses you. I have not left, my spirit is with yours. I am all around you when you call. I am the gentle breeze when there is no wind. I am in the photo on the wall when you blink in disbelief. I am the song that enters your head for no reason, yet it reminds you. Don’t grieve that I am gone. I am with you, beside you, in you. I will be forever.
One year ago, this morning, my one and only Daddy lost his brave battle with CC. My Daddy is the strongest, most gentle man I have ever met. This past year was filled with many firsts…..first Father’s Day, first Easter, first Gator football game……the list goes on and on. There is not a day that goes by that our family does not say, “Daddy would…..” “Papa said….”
Some days are filled with sad tears, just getting through another day…..other days are filled with happy tears, sweet memories of our Daddy/Papa. You never know when they are going to hit….sometimes when I am cooking supper, driving down the road, looking out the kitchen window, watching the turkeys or just looking into the faces of my 3 nieces, who were their Papa’s heartbeat!
To those of you who have lost a loved one to CC – my heart goes out to you today – you know exactly how I am feeling. To those of you have have a loved one battling CC, be strong and cherish each and every moment.
We love and miss you Daddy/Papa – rest in peace until we meet again and keep watching over us daily…..we feel you with us.
