    Dear Brigitte,

I am real sorry to hear this news and that you are not getting the help with this pain that you should be right now. I so hope that you can get some help with the pain and what is causing it sorted asap.

Brigitte…..identifying the cause of the pain is of extreme importance and MD Anderson must follow through. Call again and ask for the supervisor. You may also want to mention this foundation and the outreach of this global discussion forum. I realize I am a bit tough on this, but patients come first.
If all fails please e-mail me the name of the PA.
    Hugs,
    Marion

Dear Brigitte, I am wondering if a call to the Hospital Manager might help. Or, a visit to your GP who may be able to help. I find these things happening more often now than not and I know it is so frustrating. Did they do a culture of the Urine as sometimes it will help them to get you on the right RX for the UTI. That PA is not doing his/her job because with CC one really cannot play guessing games. I hope you get some answers quickly.

I had to go to a urgent care clinic on Saturday and as I thought, I have a UTI so was put on antibiotics. I told the PA there that I have had a pain under my right ribs in my back for a while now and lately it has gotten worse. He told me to keep an eye on it as it could be a kidney stone. I called my MD Anderson PA about it and a nurse called me to ask about it and said would call me back which she hasn’t. I don’t know if I should be concerned about this pain, I have no other symptoms. Lately there seems to be a lack of communication with MD Anderson support staff. I sent an e-mail with a medical question from another doctor and never got an answer. Not sure what to do.
