    Hi,

    I live in Portland Oregon, however I did not have my surgery there. I had it at UPMC in Pittsburgh.
    I am not very familiar with the qualifications of the surgeons in the area.

    It will be difficult for any Hospital personnel to answer the question as to how many of such surgeries have been performed. This is a question you might want to pose to the surgeon directly.

    Hello,

    My mom was just diagnosed with distal bile duct cancer. They said she would need some of her pancreas, bile duct and small intestine removed. Wondering if you have any experience with surgeons in the Portland area? We would also look at Seattle too if you know of any there that have successfully done a lot of them. We are trying to find out how many of these surgeries were performed by surgeions/hospitals, but find it hard to get this info.
