possible skin metastasis from needle tract seeding (from biopsy)

Has anyone had or heard of this condition? Even the more modern carefully done diagnostic biopsy technique using an outer cannula (tube) with the needle inside it to try to prevent spread, apparently tumor cells can be spread (seeded) along the tract where the needle was.

This is a potential new development for my sister but we are waiting for results of new skin biopsy (of the skin from entry site of needle biopsy that was done 14 months ago.
