Another great update, Lynn keep the good words flowing! Tell George not to be scared about the chemo, he has to know he had a whole bunch of people cheering for him. Thanks for your update and take care.

Hello everyone,so good night last night, george slept through it,no waking up,hopefully because they raised the pain meds.the cancer center called, first chemo will be thursday,he nervous which is understandable.other then that all is good with us.oh yea,he did qualify for a program ammend or something like that, who will pay for his anti nauesa meds that commpassion care dont cover,if he didnt get qualified,we would have to pay 70 dollars for 3 pills with every treatment, whoa!!!thats 20%of what medicare dosnt cover,so,by for now, love you all, hugs lynn

Thanks for the update, Lynn, so glad all went well. George has now been ported. By shakes do you mean chills or just shakey? I do love his sense of humor! Get some rest now!

    Hi Lynn,
In our situation with Jeff, he started having bad night sweats about twice a week. However, for Jeff, this started after CC diagnosis but prior to treatment. He is on chemo and has not had radiation therapy. We suspect it may be somehow related to the cancer.

Lynn, thanks for the update. Just a suggestion but maybe Hospice should order Oxygen, Teddy didn’t want to use it at first then it became his friend. It helped with the pain too as it relaxes the body. He doesn’t have to use it continually just when short of breath or in pain. At lease if you have it there George can try it.

hi Lainy, george had 10,he also has a rash across his lower back, that dosnt seem to bother him tho.His nurse is comming out in the morning,it seems george’s pain had spread to his left front,he said it takes his breath away sometimes, they may have to go a little stronger on meds..Love and hugs Lynn

Hi Lynn, I don’t remember Teddy sweating but I know others will chime in. His radiation was in the front but he developed itching and a rash on his back from it. He also got very tired at the end of it for about a week, he had 25 treatments to bring down the tumor size for Cyber Knife.

can anyone tell me if bad sweating could be from radiation?george finished thursday and he started sweating ,(hair and neck soaked sweating),yesterday…but he says hes not hot,and he dont have a fever…thanks..love and hugs Lynn
