Tommy….sure am glad to hear that your Mom has such good results with the painkillers. We have several postings re: enlarged spleen and/or cancer involvement something; you might want to read up on by using the google search, top, right hand side. The good news is that your Mom is pain free thereby allowing for a diagnosis of the spleen issue.

MarionToday my mom was admitted into the hospital. They say that her cancer has either spread to her spleen or that she has a blood clot in her spleen. The dr. said he wanted to take a closer look at it, but until they got her pain under control they wouldn’t be able to. Now they have started her on the morphine drip, which is AMAZING! She is like a new person!!! Has anyone else heard of the cancer spreading to the spleen or getting a blood clot in it? And what can be done??? HELP!
