LOL…OMG! I don’t think we will EVER forget that Chinese Place that I can’t even call a restaurant. Talk about a nightmare. And you taking pictures of a possible tornado headed our way. Or the whole day Stan spent with us! BTW he always asks me about you. I do miss that “lake house” nut have not travelled since then. Now there will be a change and I want my life back, We will fight for the right to enjoy our life.

Lainy, I can only do the Statue of Liberty if I can be holding a really big egg roll! lol
Debbie, you sometimes just gotta be wacky to keep from breaking things! And Lainy helps us stay wacky.

Debbie, I would never say to others some of the things I say to Kris. I was at a Lake for 2 weeks one summer 2 years ago and Kris drove down to spend some time with me. She is a riot and a very good sense of humor. An awesome lady!

    Kris and Lainy,

Love your attitudes – you both have a great sense of humor! I’ll be sending positive thought out to each for your respective treatments!

WOW! Kris, if they got a ginormous mold you could be the next statue of liberty. Tell them also you want to go seamless. Love You! I will give you another type of goal. When this part of your attention getting is over (LOL) come for a visit.

Oh how I wish it was jello! That at least would be soft! lol
Actually they lay you on this surface. Inflate sides, etc. to “fit” your body. And it either stays filled or hardens. Can’t remember. But my last one had a seam around my shoulder blade. Very bothersome!

Tomorrow afternoon is the simulation for radiation. Boy, I can’t wait to get to lay in the mold they make just for me!! (Can you hear the sarcasm?) I just want to hear in about two weeks that SBRT is a go! I certainly don’t want 5 or 6 weeks of that crap!

OH!OH!OH! I forgot! I get MORE tattoos!! At least 3 or 4!!!! Yay!

Kris….sounds like a great game plan – not without risk – but then what isn’t and as you say so well, it beats the alternative. You have done so well within the last few years, I hate to see you having to give up your job, but perhaps you are fortunate and can go about your life well as before. That’s what I wish for you.

Kris, you have to be a patient, patient! I KNOW you are a fighter so put on those pink boxing gloves and dot them with some rhinestones and get that good old Kris mindset and off you go! As you well know it is always best to have the options. Thinking of you!

It’s been a long day. I found out there were THREE lymph nodes, but that’s not that important. My onc and my radiologist both suggest radiation. The radiologist wants to do SBRT again, which bought me 9 or so months of no treatment a few years ago. His only concern is the nodes are close to my colon. If the colon gets SBRT radiation, it could be very bad for me! If he doesn’t feel comfortable with the calculations, he wants to do 5-6 weeks of daily lower dose radiation. All I could think of was “there goes my new job!”
After radiation, we watch and wait. Meantime, dr. D has sent the biopsy to foundation one for genomic testing. And has put my name on the list for nivolumab (opdivo) which is the Bristol Meyers squib version of keytruda. If all goes according to plan (boy, I hate that thought!!) I will hopefully be accepted before the radiation has quit. Only problem with all this is I get to be a patient again. She wants to pair it with another drug that will make me feel like I have the flu.
Still, it’s better than the alternative!!

Kris….in regards to available treatments, much has changed within the last two years; many more options than ever before.
Fingers and everything crossed. Can’t wait to hear of your visit.
    Hugs,
    Marion
