I learned that according to Traditional Chinese Medicin you should avoid wheat, dairy and sugar if you have cancer. So I try to avoid that as much as possible. I also eat vegetarian, drink one big cup of green tea and eat a lot of fruit and berries each day.

MarionLisa, hang in, be strong. I am praying that the radiation gives all the blast you need!!! If I see you glowing from Phoenix I will know it is working. For diets have you checked our Nutrition category? I remember when Teddy had radiation before his Cyber Knife the radiation kept working for about 3 months. Of course I am wishing for all the very best for you!!!
I started my radiation yesterday at the Cleveland Clinic. I will have three days of treatment in a row. Please pray that the radiation blasts the current two tumors and that no new ones pop up. I won’t have a CAT scan for six weeks. I am trying to get an appointment at MD Anderson for a second opinion. This is my third recurrence in eighteen months. I have changed my diet to vegan and breakfast and lunch is a raw diet. Any one else trying dietary changes ?
