    Hello everyone!

Just wanted to update my status…still cancer free and feeling great! Had a CT scan last Wednesday (April 14) and finally got the results. My doc said the scan “looks great!” That makes me 3 years and 4 months free of CC.

Everyday I think about what a miracle I have experienced and I am trying to make the best use of this extra life I have been given. I am trying to get in better shape (down 33 pounds and still working on it).

I’m trying to reach out and experience new things. Have enrolled in a Pilates class (what core muscles????) and have been invited to attend the CanLiv Symposium in two weeks in Alexandria, which is sponsored by our very own CC.org founding members! I am honored!

My son gets married on July 4 and I am really looking forward to the wedding. I love his fiance and can’t wait to have grand-children (when they come along) close enough for me to spoil.

I am having some digestive issues, presumably reflux related. I am scheduled for an endoscopy on May 5, but I am confident that they will just stretch out whatever needs stretching and I will be good to go for another two years. My father had this done for years, so not really surprising nor any big deal.

Overall, I have to say life is good.

My thoughts are with each of you.

    hugs,
    Sue
