Hi Ashley,
I’m sorry to hear about your mum, and I know how rough it is to lose a parent to CC, I lost my dad to CC last December and I think about him every day. It is great that you have joined us here as we all support each other and I think that you will benefit a lot from being here. I have received so much support from all of the wonderful members here and I know that you will get the same.

I lost my soulmate after 2 months of illness & have a 15 yr old son.
It is hard & we miss him.

nkThanks so much for your support for all of us, Ashley. I’m very sorry about your mom. I feel very much for you, as I’m in my mid-20s and my father has CC. So far, we still have a journey ahead of us, but I completely understand how rough it is to go through the loss or potential loss of a parent at our young age.

MarionHey everyone! I lost my mother in 2008, 6 months after diagnosis. It was rough for myself as a 20 something year old and its rough now. I would like to offer my personal support to anyone looking for a shoulder from someone who has been there.
Been needing to do this for a while. It could be therapy for all of us.
