OMG!!! Dr. Cashman was one of our doctors!!!! THE BEST office you could be at. When we returned from Milwaukee after the Whipple my girlfriend suggested that office as she had a liver problem and went to Koepke! We ended up with Cashman and he took care of T until he was totally healed in June (6 months later). He saw us this last June as a courtesy visit and he is the one who sent us to Dr.Kresl for cyber knife. What a small world. You just give me the date and no matter what we are doing if anything, dinner and evening will be with you!!! I can’t believe this! We think Cashman is a god. He is also good looking!!!! I have to go tell T he will be so happy to know you are with the best!!!! OMG!!!
Well…now let’s see…..Dr. Keope, Dr. Cashman and Dr. Brink are our liver docs….We get the Pet at the imaging department at Scottsdale Hospital…and YES!!..as soon as we know when Dr. Mathern schedules the PET we will let you know…we usually stay the night away from Emilee cuz of the radioactive stuff…so that will give us even more time to visit! I really am excited to meet….it’s almost like meeting family you never even knew about!

What great news! I’m glad that you got the aggressive doctor that you wanted and it sounds like you and Teddy have a great and very active team fighting your corner! What a fighter Teddy sounds like!!!

YEAH!!!!! So, maybe now we can plan a date? Which liver specialist do you go to? Where do you do the PET Scan and we could make it for lunch or dinner either when you do the Scan or go to Scottsdale.
Hey Lainy! Super-duper news…we got some good news today too! Lee’s numbers are good, Dr. Mathern is really pleased…not too happy about blood count…might need a transfusion on Thursday if not good on Wednesday…but the best part…we are going to do another PET scan in December to make sure the cancer has not spread and if not…back to the liver specialists in Scottsdale to see if they can now remove tumor because it shrunk so much and as far as we know….no mets. So here’s to our wonderful husbands and a great weekend!

We just got back from our new Oncologist and we are thrilled. He is wonderful and aggressive. He is amazed at Teddy’s progress and how he looks after going through his 3 years of hell. He just does not understand how this man can be doing so well! He said that WHEN the cancer returns as we know it will
he does not do trials but knows doctors he can send Teddy to who do trials. This is what I wanted, an aggressive doctor. After Teddy’s Cyber Knife next month Dr. Cavalcant wants to then see him every 2 months with LAB work every month. WONDERFUL! I feel we have a team again working to benefit Teddy!
