The left side of my liver is dead

It is good to hear from you and thank you for letting us know how you are doing. It sounds like there is good news in your report — that your treatment has the cancer in retreat. What are your doctors proposing to address your “dead liver?”
I am also thankful to hear that you are no longer in pain. Fingers crossed your good news continues.

From what I read of the medical reports, my cancer is gone from all but the left side of the liver now. The left side of my liver has atrophied and may be dead along with the tumor. Seems my tumor cut off the blood supply to the left side of my liver. Well, at least I have the right half. I may be technically cured but they said they would have to aspirate to see if the cancer cells are dead. The tumor is not shrinking anymore but it was originally in all 4 quadrants of the left side of the liver so probably all my left side is dead. At least there is no pain anymore and it is out of the pancreas and the mesentery mass is gone. Guess I should consider myself lucky keytruda got rid of it from the rest of my body.
