Carlos I am going to take a stab at this as I really am computer illiterate. You can post a picture in your Avatar if you do the following:
Go to Profile at the top of the page. Click
Look for the word Avatar Click
If you have any saved pictures of your Mom in your pictures, click on the picture. It will take you to
‘windows live gallery’ another site that will show that picture.Left click on the picture and a column will appear and click on Paint.
When you are in Paint click on change size. When the size thingy opens you must change the size to PIXELS. It cannot be more than 60 X 60. Mine usually takes if they are 50 X 40. Go to the top left and hit SAV E Jpg. Click on JPG its usually the top choice. Make sure you save that.
Go back to Avatar in your profile and click Browse and the picture should appear. Click on save or change browser. That’s it.
I know it sounds like a lot but not really. If I can change mine anyone can.August 11, 2014 at 9:28 pm #32499marionsModeratorCarlos….We still can’t upload images to the discussion board, it’s not a feature that’s available. If the image is already on the internet, you can use the image tag to link to it. Is this something you can do?

MarionAugust 11, 2014 at 4:28 pm #32498marionsModeratorCarlos…..I am so sorry for the delay. Donna, Executive Director, had some internet problems. In the passed, we were able to contact Rick directly however; given the high volume of requests, we now have to channel everything through Donna. I have e-mailed Donna again and am awaiting a response.
In the meantime though, anyone familiar with displaying pictures on the discussion board please don’t hesitate from sharing the info with Carlos.

I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I hope that soon wonderful memories of your mother replace the sadness and loss you are feeling right now.

CarlosAugust 9, 2014 at 10:04 am #32489middlesister1ModeratorDear Carols,
I am very sorry for your loss. This morning I looked back on your earlier posts and it was easy to see how you were there for your mother through her long struggle with this disease. She was fortunate to have such a loving son.
Take care of yourself.
CatherineAugust 9, 2014 at 7:55 am #32488carlosSpectatorMarions, Lainy, Darla, Gavin thanks a lot!!!
She was very weak and thin in the last months but always with a good mood…poise, fortitude, courage, bravery…and I fall short.
I would like to share with you a photo from this July where she shows her desire to live.
Where can I send you?

I am so very sorry indeed to hear of the passing of your dear mum, please accept my sincere condolences. I know how tough a time this is for you and I know how much you will miss her. You did everything that you could to help here during these years and I know how proud she will have been of you. You know that we are here for you.
Thinking of you and your family right now.
