Two hepatic veins to be removed

I’m getting ready for resection on May 24th. My surgeon at UNC is removing the right lobe including the middle and right hepatic veins. Leaving the portal vein and the left hepatic vein to supply the left lobe and new liver growth which is growing now in time for the surgery. The surgeon says he plans on using cyberknife after the surgery to kill any remaining cancer cells. Has anyone had two hepatic veins removed? How do you feel after such a resection?
