My CA119-9 was never really high.  It started at 61.  I had intrahepatic CC.  Tumor was 5x6cm.

Congratulations!  Such great news to share… as well as inspiration to everyone struggling with this disease.

Curious what your CA19-9 started at, and if you had intra-ahepatic CCA or extra-hepatic CCA?

SO HAPPY FOR YOUR GREAT NEWS!  And looking forward to hearing of your ongoing success!

    I needed your inspiration!

    Best wishes,

    Laurie

I’ve reached the 1 yearversary of my diagnosis.  Had my PET/CT scan last month which showed no recurrence of cholangiocarcinoma local, or distant.  Completely clear.  CA 19-9 is 10.  My oncologist says I’m officially in remission.  I’m really grateful for this forum and for the encouragement, stories and informational support provided.  For those of you still in treatment, please know that I’m praying for you.  You are my heroes.

Congratulations Bighorn67, sounds like you are on a good path, 9 is about what my number hangs around, which is a good average. Don’t stress, merry Christmas, and a incredible new year .    Pat

After resection surgery in June, Xeloda treatment started in August, added 6 weeks of radiation treatment to Xeloda/lower dose in September, back to full dose Xeloda in November, down to my last two weeks of treatment.  CA19-9 is down to 9, all other lab numbers look good, white cells are low, but will recover.  I’m in as good a place as I could have expected to be at this point.  Have to wait 4 months for CT and PET scans so radiation inflammation can reduce.  Regular lab work in the meantime.  Fingers crossed.  Happy Holidays everyone!
