    Michelle,

We are all thinking of and praying for you and your family. I am so sorry that you are on this difficult journey. My mom passed away last September, so I know the pain that you are going through.

I am so sorry. Love, Amy

Thank you, i remember your mom’s passing like it was yesterday, as it came round about the time my dad was diagnosed when your mom passed, i often refer back to your posts at that time – thank you for this gift. I will maintain some board silence for now, but will let everyone know when the time has come. I have just come into to sort out some work, i am a teacher and then back to my family

I am praying for peace, and acceptance…..

    Love

    Michelle,

This is such a bittersweet time. I stood in your shoes in April 2009. You are giving your Dad and Mom such a loving gift….being there with and for them!

I know how difficult these coming days will be and am sending you lots of love, hugs and prayers your way.

    Hugs!
    Pam

Michelle, we are at the exact time and place and yes it’s like you are watching everything happen but not really there. Hospice told me about the first week in October but unless there is something drastic I don’t see it yet. His blood pressure is usually around 100 now over 50 -60. Pain under control, not eating much and sleeping more. Other than that nothing so far like vomiting or etc. Maybe we will be lucky and they will just kind of quietly slip away. At least that’s what I am hoping for Teddy. I did decide that when we have a few days left I am sending him to Hospice facility as they are better equipped to take care of him than I am. He agrees. All I can say is try to be very strong and it’s all in Gods hands now. You remember the old song, “He Has The Whole World in His Hands”? Ain’t that the truth?
