Hello all. I’ve been out of town for a few days so I’m a bit late in reporting on the webinar. Unfortunately, I had some technical problems and missed the first part of it but I did receive some useful information and will post it within the next couple of days. Jenny already gave you the most important information – it’s always important to do your homework when chosing a health insurance plan and it’s even more crucial for cancer patients. I’ll provide more details soon.

    Hi Marion,
I attended the webinar the other day only to learn that I made the wrong choice for insurance. So now I will be spending money needlessly for the rest of the year until open enrollment begins again.
I am hoping Linda will give further and a better detailed description of the webinar since I really don’t have the writing skills to convey the message properly.
The only thing I have to tell everyone is-do your homework and it will take time. Call the insurance companies direct and ask questions about cancer care and medications. You really do not want to do co-insurance but co-pay instead. It’s a direct cost not a shared one.
Lots of info and another webinar at the end of May. Will probably sit in on that one too.
    Best,
    Jenny

So we are covered on two fronts. Thanks so much, dear Jenny, for sharing with us what you have learned.

Hey Marion, I know all too well about the ever changing healthcare field so I decided to go ahead and sign up for that webinar also.
So Linda I will be sitting in on this too and hopefully learn a lot more things that I need to know about healthcare.
    Best,
    Jenny

Jenny….things are changing rapidly in all areas of healthcare. It is hard to keep up and even more difficult to make decisions based on the unknown issues coming our way.
I believe that our Linda is attending this webconference and report back to us.
    Hugs,
    Marion

Oh how I wish I had something like this a month ago when I was trying to decide on a market place plan or continue with COBRA. Thanks for the information Marion.
    Best,
    Jenny
