Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Isn’t God good!? There is a song sung by the Christian group Casting Crowns called “Praise Him in the Storm”.
I think this would be a great time to do so! What wonderful news…doesn’t it just feel soooo good!? ENJOY!

    Love,

Hi Carol how wonderful to have this window of wellness.I think sometimes things stablise for a while even when people are very ill and this is a gift for you and your kids and of course if Charlie is eating and drinking and doing a little more physically then this will perpetuate this a little more so terrific I think Janet

That is so good to hear! Spring does give one hope doesn’t it? I’m so very glad for all of you. Sending good wishes and many prayers to Charlie and your family.

    Carol,
That IS wonderful news. Especially that Charlie is eating a bit more – that is very encouraging – he can maybe build up some strength as a result. Keep the good news coming. I can imagine how good you and the boys must feel about this.

Good news is always welcome, even in the grief section. Ours is not to question why. Just enjoy your good times together.

For the past week, Charlie has been doing and feeling better. Praise God!! He is walking (slowly) without his walker, he is eating a little more regular food, he seems to be reconnecting and more interested in things around him. Charlie loves going outside in this warm weather. We’ve seen him smile and laugh more, which makes Sarah, Ben and I feel so good. Ben said, “Dad’s doing so good. I think he’s going to get well.” To that I said, “You just never know Ben.” God knows though and we trust that and Him. By God’s grace and for whatever reason, we’re so thankful. We just continue to pray the prayer to trust God and we turn it all over to Him, give us the strength to accept God’s plan for Charlie and our family. I also continue to pray for all dealing with this cancer.

    Praying for better tomorrows,
    Carol
