Hello Moose. I am just curious to know how you are? I hope you are coping well. Please let us know.
anna-marie1SpectatorThank you all for celebrating the good news with me! PFOX2100 my second lesion was also on the opposite side and smaller than before. It was confirmed Cholangiocarcinoma. Will be thinking of you when you go in for your second resection. I trust that all will go well.
anna-marie1SpectatorDear Friends, I saw the surgeon again after my second liver resection in October 2014. The results of the CT scan showed that there were NO sign of cancer! I am overjoyed and very grateful! I have more time to be with my family and to live my life. I will go for another CT scan in 4 months.
Moderators, thank you once again for your support!
anna-marie1SpectatorThat article is very informative Marion. So it is not an alternative to chemo but just a help to combat the side effects of chemo. Thanks for the information everyone!
anna-marie1SpectatorI have had 2 successful liver resections:
1. Prof. Jake Krige (Surgical gastroenterology & hepatology)
Professor of surgery at University of Cape Town
operates at Grootte Schuur hospital, Cape Town
SOUTH AFRICA2. Dr. Kellee Slater

Queensland hepatobilliary

AUSTRALIAanna-marie1SpectatorWhat a warm and wonderful welcome! Thank you so much Lainy, Gavin, Julie, Darla, Duke, Marion, Kris and Melinda for your kind words and encouragement. You have obviously all been affected in some way or another by cholangiocarcinoma. It will be interesting to hear your stories as I study the pages/topics on this site. I just wish I found it sooner! May God bless you all.
