Wasn’t sure if this applied to me and others. Not quite understanding if caretakers to those who have passed are included in this survey. Will gladly participate if that is the case. So would my information be relevant to this survey?

    Maggie,

Thanks for stopping in and posting this. It is so true that there are probably more of these stories out there, but most want to just forget about the fact that CC was in there lives. This board needs all these messages of hope. Thanks for sharing yours.

    Hi Rob,

Welcome to the board. Glad you are here, but sorry for your reason to find us. You were fortunate in that your CC was found early and surgery was done quickly. It sounds like you are doing well. I’m sure once you consult with your oncologist you will have a better idea of what direction to go from here. Thanks for sharing your good news with us, enjoy it. Hoping to be hearing more good reports from you in the future. Take care and let us know how things are going.

    Dear Leighan,

You have my deepest sympathy and understanding on the loss of your mom. I lost my husband very quickly from this disease at age 62, so I truly know how it feels. Take some comfort in knowing that at least she did not have to suffer very long and is now in a better place, with no more suffering or pain. Keep her with you forever in your heart and memories. My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad & trying time.

    Hugs,

    Dear Janet,

I too am sorry to hear of Bob’s passing and would like to extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy. I am glad to hear that he was able to get his wish of seeing his family together. No words can take away your pain & sorry, but try to take some comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering or in pain. He will be with all of you forever in your hearts and the wonderful memories that you share.

    Love,
    Darla

Glad to hear that Steve will be home where he wants to be. Getting hospice involved at this point would be a great help. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
