    Dear Exoaria,

I too am so sorry you have lost your mom to this disease. No, it’s not easy and no words can make it better. Try to take a little comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering or in pain. She is now in a better place. Keep her with you forever in your thoughts and memories of all the good times.

Take care and know we are all here for you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

    Love & Hugs,
    Darla

    Oh Pam,

So sorry to hear about this latest development. Hoping that you will get some answers on Friday and things will turn around so that Lauren can get some relief from all of this. Good luck on Friday. My fingers are crossed for the best results. I’ll be thinking of you and Lauren.

I have to agree that Lauren is cute no matter how long or short her hair is. She is a beautiful person both inside and out. :)

Thinking of you both and hoping for the best.

    Love & Hugs,

    Dear Dianne,

You have my deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband Chris. I too read the obituary and yes, he was a very handsome man who accomplished much in his life. Your mention of donations to this foundation was a very considerate thing to do.

Yes, he is no longer in pain or suffering and you can take some comfort in that.

Know that I am thinking of you and your family at this sad time. Take care.

    Dear Becky,

Yes, I do know how you are feeling. Lost my husband to this disease very quickly too and all I can tell you is that the pain is always there, it just softens with time. I still miss him so much, but know that he is in a better place and no longer suffering and this gives me comfort.

No apologies necessary for your posting. We all understand and are here to listen, help and support each other. Getting it out, especially to those who have been there too and truely understand does help. Come back when you feel the need and let us know how you are doing. Take care.

    Oh Dear Julia,

I am so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time of it. I have faith in you that you will deal with this as you have everything in the past, with strength and grace. These things come at us in waves and we have to work our way through them. Hopefully in time the dreams and memories will be more of the good times you had with Susan and less of the those last days and weeks. Hopefully spending time with Florence will help to bring back some of those good memories and push aside some of the bad. I think we are all stronger than we give ourselves credit for. None of us signed on for this, but here we are and together we will get by, one day at a time.

I totally agree that the longer and stronger the love, the longer and harder the grieving. This is just a testiment to your close relationship and deep love for Susan.

Hopefully coming here and sharing your feelings will also help to relieve some of these things. I still have my good days and bad days and for me it has been 4 1/2 years already. Some days I feel like it all just happened and others it seems so long ago.

Thinking of you and hoping for better days ahead. Hoping your visit with Florence goes well and is a wonderful, healing experience for you both.

    Love & Hugs,
    Darla

    Kris,

Wishing you the best what ever way you decide to handle this. You deserve the best treatment and to be comfortable with your doctors. Go with your gut. :) When it feels right, you will know. It doesn’t sound like Dr. K was ever a really good fit. Take care and good luck on April 1. :) Thinking of you.
