    Julie,

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and hoping all goes well. Also that the weather is in your favor. Weather here has been much the same. Lot’s of snow & cold. :( Many thoughts & prayers headed your way.

    Julie,

You continue to amaze me with your strength and courage. You have made a decision and I know that you will do your best to follow through. I would like to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy all that it entails and especially spoiling those little ones. Have a very Merry Christmas and the best to all of you in the New Year.

    Love & Hugs,
    Darla

(Brought tears to my eyes too.)

    Julie,

It’s no wonder your head is spinning. Try to take some deep breaths and clear your mind. If that doesn’t work. Throw something! ;) I think seeking more opinions is a good idea and talking to the therapist too. Even in your confusion, you are still thinking and make the right choices. Keep coming here and venting, too. It does help and we are all here for you. Please keep us updated as you can.

    Hugs,

    Dear Julie,

You go girl! With that great attitude you can’t lose. I know how hard all of this must be for you both mentally and physically, but you are strong and I truly believe you can do this. Keep fighting. You are worth it.

I agree with Lainy. You did all that you could. We all did the best with the situation we were given and I’m sure most of us have questioned what we could have done different. I know it’s hard to believe right now, but with time things will get better and you will be able to take comfort in all of the good memories you have. It never really goes away, but it does got better. Grief is a very personal thing and everyone deals with it in their own way & time. I am also a believer that although our loved ones are no longer with us physically, they are always near to us. Take care Nancy.

Bridgette, I’m not real knowledgeable on this subject, but think it is called neuropathy. Definitely mention this to the oncologist. There are things you can do and take to help relieve these symptoms. I’m hoping others will be able to give you suggestions. You might also search on here for chemo induced neuropathy and see how others have dealt with it. Wishing you the best. Take care. Darla

    Dear Julie,

I have been following this and had hoped for a better prognosis. You are so strong and have dealt with everything so well and now to be hit with this is so unfair. I am still hoping for the best for you. Just keep dealing with it one day at a time and enjoy each day as best you can. My thoughts are with you and lots of prayers, too. Please up date us on how you are doing when you can. We are all here for you and truly do care.

    Dear Nancy,

I am so sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. Yes, at least for mom it is a blessing that she is no longer suffering or in pain. Thinking of you at this sad & trying time.

    Hi Teresa,

I too want to welcome you and thank you for sharing Steve’s journey with CC. It gives hope and encouragement to others dealing with this illness. I am happy and amazed at how things have progressed and improved in the past 8 years since my husband passed away. There is so much more awareness of CC and how to treat it then there was back then. I want to believe that this site and all those who contribute to it have had a small part in making this happen. We can only hope that this continues and that some day all who face this disease will be able to manage it as a chronic illness. Your attitude and how you dealt with this will definitely help others.

Please update us when you can and let us know how both Steve and you are doing.

    Darla
