    Hi Lisa,

I can only agree with the others advice to get another doctors opinion. This disease is tricky. Hard to diagnois and harder to figure out the best way to treat it. Stick with this site and you will get a lot of help and support. Good luck to you and your hubby on this journey that no one wants to go on.

    Deara Peggy,

I am so sorry to hear that John has passed and that you had such a bad experience in the end. My story was much the same as your’s although my husband passed only two months after his first symptoms. John put up a good fight. Try to remember the good and let go of the bad. Take comfort in the fact that he no longer is suffering and is at peace. He will always be with you in your heart an memories. You have my deepest sympathy and understanding.

    Lots of Love & Hugs,

    Janet,

Thank you for a wonderful and inspiring post. I am so sorry to learn that your husband has passed. You have my deepest sympathy. Yes, it is some what comforting to know he is in a better place and no longer suffering. It is those of us who are left behind that now have to learn how to go on without them. Our lives will never be the same, but the pain does easy some with time. Keep him with you forever in your heart and memories. Take care.

    Tara,

I am so sorry for your loss. You and your family have my deepest sympathy and understanding. My husband passed away less than 2 months from when he had his first symptom of something being wrong, so I do know how you are all feeling. You have come to the right place for support and understanding. Keep coming back, we are all here to help each other.

Your dad will always be with you now in your heart and memories. Take things one day at a time and keep coming back.

    Love & Hugs,
    Darla
