It was so, so wonderful to talk to you the other day, Pauline. I’ve just been offered more work covering a sick colleague so it’s head down again for a week or two but then I hope we’ll be able to meet for that coffee. I’m very, very much looking forward to it.
I gave my sister the good wishes you sent & told her about the posters you want to put up in Kings. She trained in Graphics & has a lot of friends who are still working in Graphic Design, so she asked what help you need with the posters & she’ll ask around if it’s anything she can help with.
Take care all
JulialalupesSpectatorHello & welcome, thefrstler. Nice to meet you & great to hear you’re doing well.
Please do tell us your story.
All the best
JulialalupesSpectatorWonderful, wonderful news!! My very best wishes for their recoveries.

lalupesSpectatorHello, Judip. My sister’s cc is inoperable, too & she’s just finished her 2nd cycle of Gem/Cis. She had a rough time last week but this week she’s coping really well on it again.
My very best wishes are winging their way to you & your brother.

lalupesSpectatorWow – what a roller-coaster, indeed!! Welcome back, Louise!! I’m glad you had a great Thanksgiving & sound to be feeling much better. Good Luck with the Chemo – my sister’s on Gem/Cis so I don’t know anything about the combination you mention. I hope it all goes smoothly.
I’m sorry to admit I chuckled at Tom saying a mammogram hurts – but I’m glad to hear there’s no problem with the lump.
My best wishes
JulialalupesSpectatorHow is your dad today, Gavin? And – equally importantly – how are you!!? I’m sorry to hear of his sickness & fluid build up. I hope they’re getting this sorted & that he feels much better very soon.
I hope your blood pressure’s doing well. Mine has always see-sawed dramatically so I was advised to buy a home monitor & it seems to be much more stable when I take it myself.
I had my swine flu jab today, as my sister’s carer, & I forgot to tell them I’m left-handed so they could jab me in my non-dominant arm. Hopefully, my arm won’t feel so heavy & sore tomorrow. (I can’t believe I’m wingeing about a sore arm on a website full of such heroic people )
Take care
Julia xlalupesSpectatorDear Kristi – I’m so very, very sorry to read of your sister. To lose her so quickly must be a devastating blow. I know how hard I have found my sister’s diagnosis & my heart goes out to you in your loss.

lalupesSpectatorDear Su – I’ve only just read your post & I wanted to welcome you, too. This is such a wonderfully caring site & I bless the day I found it – please visit often & tell us how you are.
My very best to you
JulialalupesSpectatorThank you, JNorm!! My very best to you & your wife.
lalupesSpectatorYou’re in my thoughts, Gavin. This is such a tough decision & I agree with the others – particularly on the pros & cons issue. I know you’ll come to the right decision, because your heart is so clearly in the right place.
Jxx
lalupesSpectatorI’m so sorry to hear your news, Heather. I’m sorry I can’;t help with your questions but I can echo your anger with this disease & I’m thinking of you both.
Julia xx
lalupesSpectatorI’m so, so sorry, Gavin. It must be so hard on you all. I’m thinking of you & send all my very best wishes.
lalupesSpectatorBrilliant news, Jim!! (& thanks, Kris – I’d heard of it but didn’t know what it was underneath).
Good luck with the Onc visit (I know how hard just going to the Onc can be emotionally). I hope you get positive news.
lalupesSpectatorA clear scan is such marvellous news!! Thank you for coming on to tell us. I’m so glad you’re feeling the support of this wonderful “family” – I thank my stars every day for having found this site.
lalupesSpectatorBeing in the UK, I’m not used to Tylenol. What type of drug is it? If it brings down fever, does that mean it’s paracetamol based?
Very best wishes, Jim. I hope her temperature comes down very soon.
