My mom’s surgery is scheduled for October 4th.  She has another echo this Friday.  Her EF was at 35-40% after being septic but it rebounded to 45%.  Assuming it is stable (risky but stable,) she will be having a right lobe hepatectomy. So far, CT does not show metastasis.

Right now she is anxious, scared, tired and very worried about my father who has tirelessly taken care of her these past 5 months.  He was diagnosed with 4th stage prostate cancer the year before.  He is in “remission” so to speak.

Thank you for asking.  I need to talk. This is all too much.
