I jave been on a rollercoaster ride also diagnosed nov. 07 resection surgery jan 08 I go monday for colonosomy last scan they thought thye seen something and finally want other tests even a pet scan mri that I had wanted after my surgery, I would get a stitch or sharp pain ocasionally on right side We just need to get the rollercoaster to slow down again and we might be able to handle the hills better. Hope you remember me Lisa I had not been to this sight for a couple of years sorry about ones that have passed,glad your still around my sister Candy use to be on here also for information
Hi thank you for the information and sorry to here about Jeff, my tests have all been good but they have wanted to do a colonostamy and egd for a long time but no insurense to pay for it. I will not put it off any longer tired of being sick but glad im still around most the time Eric sorry its late and my spelling is bad

first radiation treatment today three stickers on body to pinpoint treatment on liver,start 5 day on 2 off with zeloda 2600 mg 8 pills a day for 6 weeks with radiation.I hope its not too severe it is a 1 hour drive there 1 hour back for me alone. As Lisa says keep chugging on thanks fellow patients.
Lisa sorry to here that you are not doing well and my prayers are with you,have you had a second opinion.my first doctor didnt want to operate.I go for chest and other scans today I have been home for 3 weeks and still have discomfort and shortness of breath.I am sure my sister candyz prayers with you also
Hi Kris I had a follow up today got to ask some off the questions I could not think of the day I left the hospital,and am eating good and gaining some weight.I have an consultation 3-24 with onccolagist and find out more about gemcitabine and radiation, heal 4 more weeks get port put in and start treatment.I am scared of side effects to this. I hope its not to severe.God bless and take care for now. Bye
Hello Mr J checking in I have been doing really good at stint recovery,now all of a sudend I feel the bloating and pressure I felt when I had my my blow out around the tube and they put a biloma apcess bag in now there is no bag and the billy bag was capped off. I put the billy bag back on and it is filling fast still no relieve. I have changed hospitals and have not had any proceders yet and hate to go back to the surgeon that already tried 4 times. I will check in with blog in the morning before I go to church hopefully not emergency room. Thanks Mr J Candyz brother
Kristen great story just what I needed to here possitive, possitive, I just changed doctors,that was part of the problem, love to read so much encouragement from everyone here God bless all Mr J Candyz brother
Hello thecdr,Kris and everyone else great posts they help me out alot just knowing of differant situations, I had alot of questions to ask this older doctor and still think he has not told me enough information on certain things maybe this is the only place for me to get access to my questions because he is older and set in his ways,left house at 830 morning arrived back at 5 pm very busy day and almost overwelming I also use a form of humor to help deal with day by day Glad I got Bio Billy of my back (i mean side)today god bless all Mr J
Thanks Jeff I am trying to be possitive even though the doctor has not seamed to be a second opinion is on wendsday, ok time for a nap I sweat so bad I am up every 2 hours drying off,making a list of questions to ask my doc that is doing the surgery so far he said gullbladder, bile ducts, and right side of liver if he can get it all, I pray he can,he seams hard to get straight answers from so thank you everyone here Candy Z brother Mr Johnson
