My husband was diagnosed with Hilar CC in Nov. 2016, at the age of 42. Big surgery including liver resection on Dec.1, 2016. Did not get clear margins and one local lymph node was positive, so stage IIIB. 5 months of gemzar/cisplatin followed by 5 weeks of radiation with 5FU chemo. Finished all treatments on Aug.22, 2017. Recurrence in May 2018 with 3 tumors within the liver. Back on Gem/Cis. We have 2 children, ages 15 and 12.
