My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff’s family.
My heart is heavy with sadness as I know what you are going through.

This is devastating news, I will greatly miss his humor, he made it ok to laugh amidst all this tragedy. He was a true original and we were lucky to have him for our very own. Valerie and family, I am sure you feel the same way, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Prayers sent for Jeff and his family. Jeff continued to give support to members on this board even when his own health was dwindling- that tells me more about the nature of his love than anything else. His journey will continue to inspire many through his determination… he truly did take it to the limit. My sincerest condolensces to Jeff’s beloved family.

Missing UIt seems impossible that we will no longer read Jeff’s words of wisdom. We always received so much support, encouragement and chuckles from his posts. Our sympathies go out to his family, and always remember that Jeff made a huge difference to many, many peoples’ lives.

It is not so long ago that I was at the lowest point in my life when our greatest friend wrote a poem for me. It was so true and to the point.
I copied this and put it with the rest of my darling sons mementos.
I come on here every evening before my bedtime and have recently survived another aniversary of Alans death. ( I dont always log in)
This is the news I didnt want to hear but in my heart I know Jeff took it to the limit and is at peace now.
To valerie and his family he will never be forgotten, especially here in england.

To Valerie and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. It has been very hard to come on here and face the loss of friends but this is ecspecially hard. We loved Jeff and will miss him dearly. Please let us help you in any way we can.

MaryWhat can be said that eases the pain and reduces the shock when someone we have grown very close to leaves us? Jeff was very much one of a kind, a very decent guy who liked to help others. His advice, steady and level-headed manner coupled with his sense of humour helped many of us through dark moments and gave us hope. My sincere condolences to his nearest and dearest.
Jeff provided so many tips to help my family through my Dad’s recent cc journey, his advice and words of experience gave my Dad more comfort than the doctor recommendations. He was one of the first we met on this board and his story remains an inspiration and a miracle. I’m praying for Jeff’s family and am confident that my own Dad, now with Jeff on the other side, will welcome him and extend his gratitude.

Such a sad day. Jeff inspired so many people and gave so much to all of us. What a wonderful human being, so kind, so caring, so positive and with a huge heart who helped so many people.

I am sitting here, my eyes brimming with tears. I didn’t even know Jeff, yet he knew all of us. He knew what to say and when to say it. when to be sympathetic or when you needed a little kick in the rear. He will be very, very missed.
