Hi Kimmie and thanks. They will just keep upping the Morph. When we get to the right dose each time it really works. Ya, know, I go along so brave and so strong but every time I see a downward trend I get sad for about 2 hours and then I am ready to sit at the card table again!
Lainy, I’m praying for another hand to be dealt! I don’t really know the answer to your question. We were never really sure if/where my Mom’s CC metastasized or not. She did have almost constant back pain, but it was more lower back, and she did have pre-existing back and hip issues prior to her CC diagnosis.
Could hospice maybe provide another painkiller in addition to the morphine?
Praying extra hard for Teddy (and you).
I have a weird question. When CC does it’s Met to the back would the pain be mostly in one area like say the waist, or can it be in different places, like usually towards the top. For those of you who know about this hope you can understand what I am trying to ask. T’s is across the middle of the back.
I believe we have hit another level. For the last 2 days T has been in bed with his Oxygen and the man with the high pain tolerance told me today he is having pain in his back and in his stomach now. He also asked the Nurse yesterday if Hospice will be increasing his Morph. I was praying that he would just go to sleep but apparently it’s not in the cards, think I can get another hand dealt?
