Marion,
Thanks for the ASCO info. Yes, I have been there, but it was years ago before the remodels & add-ons. It was McCormick Place back then. We did antique shows down there and it seemed big then. Can’t imagine it now. Thanks again for all you do for the cause.

darlaSpectatorHollie,
I am so sorry to hear what has all happened and Sophie’s current condition. I too am thinking of her and your whole family. We do all miss her and wish her peace.
Love & Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorLainy,
I’m glad the decision has been made and that you are both comfortable with it. I so look forward to meeting both of you and also Margaret & Tom and any one else who cares to join us. I’m with you. I love it here and plan to be here for a long time. Without this forum and all the wonderful people on it I don’t know how I could have dealt with everything I have and am still going through. The support and love of everyone here has given me the strength to keep going.
Love, Hugs & a big THANK YOU to all of you.

darlaSpectatorRick,
I hope you can get some help getting this treatment paid for. It is all so unfair. You pay for insurance and when you really need it they won’t pay!
Having to deal with the disease is stressful enough without adding the stress of fightiing with the insurance companies. Wishing you lots of luck.Darla
darlaSpectatorDonna,
I too felt as you do now, and some days I still do, but I just keep putting one foot in front of the other and seeing where it will lead. Don’t give up on yourself. It will never be the same, but you will be OK. Life has a way of going on. We may never really get over what has happened. It is such a great loss, but in time you will learn how to live with it and figure it all out. Give yourself that time. There is no time limit on grieving we all have to do it in our own way and time. And as Marion said, we are all here to help.
Love & Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorLainy,
This is a tough one, quality over quantity. Whatever he decides, will be right for him. Know that I am thinking of the two of you as you navigate another rough spot in this journey. Take care.
Love & Hugs,
DarladarlaSpectatorDianne,
I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time.

I don’t really have any other words of wisdom for you, but want you to know how badly I feel for you about these latest problems you are facing and that I am thinking of you.

Your post tho’ sad is also wonderful. I am glad things worked out as they did. Now your Dad has moved on and is no longer in pain or suffering. He will be with all of you forever in your hearts and memories. Wishing you the best in the future.

darlaSpectatorHi Pam,
Don’t have much more to add to what Lainy and Rick have already told you, but want to welcome you to our “family” and hope to hear more on how Dad is doing. Thinking of you & your family and hoping for the best.

I’m glad things went much better today and that you and your Dad are feeling more positive about everything. It sounds like this doctor is a keeper! Keep posting and let us know how things are going.
