    Carol,

I am so sorry to hear of your most recent diagnosis. I have no medical advice to offer, but you have already gotten some good advice and I am sure more will be forth coming from those who have had similar experiences.

I do want to congratulate you on your upcoming marriage. My best advice is to live your life to the fullest, one day at a time, and enjoy.

My best to both of you.

    Love & Hugs,

    Melissa,

I am so sorry that you have lost your Grandma. I know there are no words to soften your grief, but know that she is now in a better place and no longer suffering or in pain. Your Grandma will always be with you in your heart and memories. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim & I had those experiences too, until we learned the ropes and who to talk to and what to say to get taken care of more quickly. No one understands!!!!!!!

    Kris,

Good to hear about the hair, but to all of us it doesn’t matter. You will always be Kris to us and you are far from normal. You are fabulous with or without hair. :)

    Mary,

What good news. I am so happy for you and Pat about the cancer free diagnosis. I have read part of your blog and intend to go back and read more. I am hoping they will be able to get her pain under control. So, as the doctor said “Go live your life”! :)

    Hi Mark,

Welcome to the family. Sorry you need to be here, but glad you have found us. I admire your strength and attitude. I checked out your blog and the information is a great addition to what the foundation is also trying to do. Getting the word out and educating people concerning this rare cancer. Hopefully you are right and you will beat the odds once again.

Take care and keep coming back.

    Heather,

I too am so sorry to hear that your Mom passed away and my heart also goes out to you and your family. Yes, please stick with us. I didn’t find this site until a few days after my husband passed away and it has helped me tremendously. Without this site and the wonderful people here, I don’t know what I would have done. Take care and keep coming back. We are all here for you.

    Kathy,

I am glad that you are feeling so well and that you have been able to make a decision on what to do for now. I agree with Margaret that quality of life is an important consideration in deciding to treat or not. It is a hard call. You have gotten a lot of great in put from those who are also dealing with this and what is working for them, but everyones situation is different and only you can decide what is best for you. Wishing you the best and hoping that you will feel good for a long time to come.

    Love & Hugs,

    Hi Phil,

Welcome. I am sorry you had to find us, but glad that you did. You will find the most wonderful supportive, caring people in the world here and we all know what you are going through. For now, I think you need more information and a second opinion may be in order. I am sure others will be by soon that may have some other suggestions for you. There are several people on here from Australia and one of them, Janet, is a nurse. I am sure you will be hearing from her. Keep in touch and let us know how things are going. My best to both of you.

    Darla
