I too am so sorry to hear that Susan has had this set back. Hopefully it is just a bump in the road and things will improve soon once she is back on the cocktail. I will be thinking of you and Susan and hoping for the best of results on this currrent regime. Hang in there.

DarlaI totally agree with Patty. This board and everyone on it has given me strength and comfort that I get no where else. No matter how hard others try, they can’t really understand how this disease and everything about it has affected us forever. I will always be thankful for finding my way here and for all the great people here. It is the only positive thing about everything that has happened that I am truely greatful for.

DarlaOur situation was much the same as what Marion has described. Thinking back the fatigue and some leg pain was there long before other symptoms and diagnosis. We also at first attributed it to age, etc. Jim was 62. Yes, early detection is need as this is apparently a very slow growing cancer, just well hidden and generally undetectable until it is far advanced.

I have to jump in here and agree with both Janet & Lainy. I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through. What you are saying is what I saw my husband go through and I too feel that at this point hospice would bring you all some peace and comfort at this time.
