Thank you everyone for your kinds words of condolence and support. It means a lot to me. I find myself shaking my head several times a day in disbelief, that cholangiocarcinoma took Patrick’s (my husband) life. We had such hope that he could win this battle…. The only thing that is making me feel better right now is knowing that he is in heaven and happy again- free from pain especially. I feel honored to have been able to walk alongside him as a comfort and support during this difficult journey, and I’m grateful to have had the cholonagocarcinoma foundation as a comfort and support for me to turn to as well.
Thank you again,
Katheryn

katherynMemberThank you very much for your help marions & Lainy! I agree, a second opinion is the direction we need to take. I really appreciate your support!
katherynMemberThank you for all of your responses! They put him on a higher dose of Furosemide which already seems to be helping. I’m so happy he didn’t have to be admitted to the hospital again. When you begin to recognize the doctors and nurses and get to know all of their names, you know you’ve been in and out of the hospital way too much!
katherynMemberThank you everyone for your support and prayers. Patrick is doing better, and we are hoping he can leave the hospital by the weekend. I didn’t realize how many complications can arise with CC. I don’t feel so alone since joining the CC foundation and have learned so much from it. Thank you again!
katherynMemberThank you for your quick reply! We will check in with his doctor tomorrow. Have a good evening
