    I am just heartbroken about you, Joteach. That must have been the most devastating thing to go through not one, but two times. I don’t understand why in 2012, they do not have scans that can see everything inside the body. I hope seeing a professional will help you to deal with things. I know after you come to terms with your disappointment, you will continue the fight. CC patients are the bravest people I know.

    Hi Adam,

    I just wanted to welcome you to this site along with everyone else. I wish you and your wife all the best. Congratulations on being able to have a resection. That is a major hurdle. My daughter, Lauren is the one with cancer. She is only 26. I pray one day she will be able to have a resection as well. This site has the most helpful and wonderful people on it. I feel so lucky to have found it and I really don’t know what I would do without it. I hope you continue to post on here. You are among friends.

    I am sorry you are having such a hard time and missing Ed so much. I can feel your pain in your post. By what you have said, I feel Ed is with you and trying to tell you not to be so sad. I am sure that is easier said than done. Please be easy on yourself and give yourself time to heal. My heart goes out to you. How wonderful to have a new grandchild and a child getting married.     Lauren is always hot too. We have to keep our air at 68 degrees and she has a big fan blowing on her at night too.
