I hope Percy will see this! I just want to learn as much about my cancer as I can.
tiff1496MemberJilly- Are you going to do any type of chemo? Welcome to our “club”.
tiff1496MemberLainy- Do you know how long it takes for it to come back? I got chemo that day, so I was there 6 hours. Just seems odd that it wasn’t on the paper with my other results. I just hate not knowing. Maybe it went up, and she knows I would freak out about that.
I guess one thing I don’t understand is—84 seems to be a low number, but I’m still stage 4. I guess the number has nothing to do with staging.
tiff1496MemberI’m sorry you had to find us.
I’m 2 months into my fight with CC. We live in Alabama, but decided that MD Anderson was the place for us. We had an appt. in less than a week. We see Dr. Javle, he seems to be one of the best doctors.Good luck my friend.
tiff1496MemberUGH! I’m sorry!! What are the doctors going to do? New chemo? Prayers for you my friend.
tiff1496MemberLainy wrote:Hey Tiff, Dr. Javle is tops as is MD. You chose well. Take a look at our listing of Hospitals on the Home Page. Also use our search engine at the top of the page. If you type in Dr. Javle some posts will pop up with his name in them.I love that you asked if anyone else is going there at this time. Grover has just met Cindy in Indie and you have no idea what a thrill it is to meet someone else with CC. It really lets you know you are NOT alone!I’m glad to hear he is a good doctor. I will do the search, I’m so luck to find this site….so much info!!!
Yeah…It would be awesome to meet someone with CC, and if they were in my age range that would be even better!

May I ask how your cc was discovered? Did you have symptoms or was it by accident?
Patty
Patty- I was having sharp pains under my left breast. I went to a walk in doctor, and they told me to go to the ER. We were at the hospital 6 days, then on day 10 we learned it was cancer, then a few days after that we discovered it was cc.
I feel blessed to have went to the doctor that day, because now I don’t have any symptoms….so there is no telling how long I would of walked around with cc and not know it. -
