My mom biggest problem has been vomiting The hospise team tried 4-5 different meds before finding a combo of 2 one is in supository form the other is a cream that is applied to her wrist both work fairly fast and she can have them up to every 3 hrs as needed. She eats very little now. But when she can have just a bite of something or a sip of apple juice that seems to help. Most of the meds are so hard on the stomach it is hard to know if it is the cancer or the meds causing the N/V. My mom stopped all treatment Sept 6th she is near the end of her journey. Good Luck and God Bless. Prayers to you and your mom.

Claude1 I have been lucky enough that my employer is so understanding. My sis stays with Mom during the day. I stay at night. I have been allowed to come in late and leave early. Somedays I am so distracted at work that it is hard to keep my mind on what i am doing. But it does help to get focused on something else for a bit of the day. If you could find something P/T and close. And an understanding company it would help some. Good Luck. Prayers your way.

Yes I finally told mom I will not ask if you want this or that you let me know if and what you want and I will get it. That is working much better. Thanks for saving her a seat that is wonderful.

Very glad the patch is helping. Moms nurse said yesterday we have about 2 weeks. She does not want to leave the house. So I guess we are in for the long haul. She is resting peacefully.

Sounds just like what my mom is doing the last 2 days. Very agitated, picking at the bedding, talking alot in her sleep. When she is awake it seems like she is seeing something she does not talk just has a look on her face of peace. Hope we can get some input from someone who has been through it. Have a great day Lainy saying a prayer for you and Teddy.

She is to far along for that. I think if we could have started that earlier It would have been of great benefit. Glad it is working for you.
