SpectatorCarl, I too am so sorry to hear of this down hill slide in Lynn’s treatment. Hoping that the chemo will turn this around and that the pain can be kept under control. Hoping for the best results. Let us know how things are going when you can.

SpectatorWow Derin, you have been through a lot, but bottom line is you are good now. Glad to hear that. Keep the good news coming.

SpectatorYES!

SpectatorAs well you should be. Good job Gavin. I only weigh a little less than that and am only 5′. I think I need to follow your example. Could afford to take off a few.

SpectatorWe’ll make this an annual event. HMMMM—-Maybe monthly???????

SpectatorThat works for me. We get to met Gavin in person, get our ironing done and look what we’ll save on postage.
darla
SpectatorI’m thinking we should all ship our ironing to Scotland c/o Gavin.

SpectatorMelinda,
Sorry to hear you lost those beautiful tulips. I too noticed them while watching the video. Glad I got to see them before they were destroyed. Not much coming up yet here in Wisconsin.
Melinda you are truly becoming our super star poster lady for CC world wide. Your story is truly amazing and brings hope to so many.

SpectatorDear Kelly,
I am so sorry for your loss. You have my deepest sympathy. Mary will be greatly missed by many, including all of us here. There are no words that can easy your pain, but try to take some comfort in knowing that at least now she is at peace and no longer suffering or in pain. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this sad & trying time.
Love & Hugs,
Darladarla
SpectatorDear Marg,
Sorry you are having a hard time of it today. I totally understand your feelings. Congratulations to your sweet daughter on her confirmation. I think you are right and being confirmed on John’s birthday will hold a special meaning for her in years to come. I think all the emotions you are feeling are very normal under the circumstances. Actually I think you are doing very well considering all you have been dealing with.
Take care dear lady and know that I’m thinking of you and the kids.
Lots of Love & Hugs,
Darladarla
SpectatorHi Kelly,
Thanks for updating your mom’s condition. I am sorry it has come to this, but know that she is in good hands with hospice care. They will help to assure that she is made comfortable and as pain free as possible and that is the most important thing at this point. My thoughts and prayers are with her and you. Please let us know how things are going when you can.
Love & Hugs,

SpectatorLadies, I am totally in awe and amazed by what you and those original members accomplished. It’s hard for me to comprehend that when I signed on in 2008, only 2 years previous there was so little information and only 15 members on this board. Since then things have just really been growing in leaps and bounds, both with the amount of people signing on and all the information that is now available. Although, it is sad that so many need this information and support, it is good that it is here for those that seek it. Hopefully some day this disease will be stopped in it’s tracks. For now, I agree with Lainy, together we are a force to be reckoned with.
Yes, there is hope.
