SpectatorDear Diana,
Welcome, but sorry you had to come here. You have already been through so much, but know that you have come to the right place as we have all been there and truly understand what you are feeling.
It sounds like you are dealing with a lot of other issues with your husband besides the CC. Hopefully you will get some answers soon and be able to go from there. Second, third and even more opinions are a good thing. Also finding a doctor who is familiar with and has dealt with this type of cancer.
The help and support on this site is phenomenal. Come back often and let us know how things are progressing.
Take care.

SpectatorUnfortunately, I have heard of this before, but not on this site or connected to CC. I think we were told of that risk and that there seems to be more of a risk of it with needle biopsies than other types. At the time, I wasn’t really absorbing most of what we were told as there was way too much going on. However at that point we would have done or gone along with whatever it took to find out what was going on and what we could do about, so I guess we have to weigh the risks with the expected results. I do think the newer method that was mentioned does help to minimize the risk of seeding. Hoping they can do something and that things will start looking up for her.

SpectatorPorter,
Great news. Glad all went well!

SpectatorHi Mary,
I agree with Percy. You will have a better idea of how the treatments will affect him after the first round. Hope it all works out and you are able to achieve this goal.

SpectatorDear Gail
I was so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you, her children and all of those who loved and cared about her.
Take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering or in pain and is now in a better place. Keep her with you forever in your heart and memories.

SpectatorBrenda,
Sorry to hear of the set back. I’m in Wisconsin and it is frigid here, but as cold as it is, at least we didn’t get snow this time. I had heard how everything down there was pretty much at a stand still.
How are things going? Is there any chance of him being seen any sooner considering his condition?
Try not to stress out too much and take it down to one minute at a time if need be.
Please let us know how both of you are doing.
Thinking of you.
Love & Hugs,
Darladarla
SpectatorGood job Jason and also a thanks to Percy. I have just taken a quick look and I think you two are doing a great job with this. When I have time I plan to look into it in more detail.
If anyone could find it I knew it would be you Gavin.

SpectatorIt’s still below 0 here in Wisconsin, but at least no more snow at the moment. Waiting for the promised warm up on the weekend. Sure hope they are right!
Both California and Arizona are looking pretty good to me right at the moment.

You definitely have a lot of support here and are connected for as long as you want to be. Good luck tomorrow and we’ll be waiting for your up date. Hope all goes well.

SpectatorHI There,
Also hoping you will have no reason to be here, but am welcoming you and hoping that you will stay if you need to as the help, knowledge and support is phenomenal. I too am not an expert but have learned a lot from my experiences. As I was reading your post my first thought was apprehension about the second needle biopsy for just the reasons you have already mentioned. That said, as Kris mentioned, you do want to find out quickly what is going on and what you are dealing with. Unfortunately from all I have learned, ICC is very hard to diagnose. It sounds like you were referred to the right team to get the help and information you need. Sorry I can’t be of more help and am hoping others will be on soon that can give you more insight. Please let us know how things are going and know that you will get as much knowledge and support from everyone here as we can possibly give.
