ModeratorIndeed! This will be a huge year for us all I think and will give everyone much to build on as well for the future. More research and treatment options the better I say!
As to Israel, you are right Lainy in that for such a small country there is much research and development going on there. Not just in things medical related but also in technology as well. no wonder Warren Buffet put his hands into his large pockets and bought a tech company there a while ago!

ModeratorThanks for that Lorraine. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. This is real good news that now Donnie will be under the care of Edinburgh and I know that you both will be happier with this. Please tell Donnie that we are all asking for him and thinking of him as well. How is he doing these last few days? Hope he had his feet up and was watching the rugby today!
Hugs,
Gavin

ModeratorHi Kay,
Welcome to the site. Sorry that you had to find us all here and sorry to here about your husband as well. But glad that you have joined in with us now as you are so in the best place for support and help and will get a load of both from all of us. Please keep coming back and let us know how things go.
Glad as well that you have got in touch with Helen at AMMF as she will be a great help to you as well, especially with things that are purely UK related. I am from the UK as well, up here in Dundee.
That is real good news about the 3cm tumour now not being seen, excellent! Keeping my fingers crossed for more good news for you with everything!
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
My best to you both,
Gavin

ModeratorHi Donna,
I too have no other thoughts about the kidney issues but my thoughts right now are to try and celebrate your great news if you can about your scan results. I know it may be hard to with the other news but please try if you can. And if you are wondering about the duplicate post here, it was me that deleted it. Sort of like housecleaning as it were!
Hugs,
Gavin

ModeratorHi Lorraine,
This news from you about Donnie just made my night!! Thank You!! Tell Donnie from me…. Ya Beutie, love it!!! Give him a big hug and kiss from me as well!
Real glad tgo hear that Prof Wigmore at Edinburgh was able to help and do all of this etc and I would say that if it was me then I would want to be kept under his care and not Glasgow’s. Do you think Prof Wigmore would be ok wit that?
As to what and why Glasgow did not do/offer what Edinburgh did, is the hosp in Glasgow that Donnie was now being treated at the new one? A new team, perhaps inexperiened with treating CC patients, unlike Edinburgh and Steve Wigmore? Just thinking out loud here.
Hugs,
Gavin
