If you dont mind me asking, what kind of treatment have you gone through so far?My father in law just had a MRI done two days ago. It will be his one year anniversary tommorow. I am crossing my fingers.

We have talked to the radiologist about his pain, but we should talk to the radiologist again. Thanks for the suggestions!

That is cool that you work in a power plant. Joe worked in Nuclear Power Plant for over 20 years and now he is in Hydro. We think that his cancer came from the nuke. He worked with countless dangerous chemicals.Marions-
Pete is a strange creature. He is extremely lovable, but becomes scared of you for no reason at random times. He is extremely loyal to his master (Joe). He has problems with pooping in the house, but I always forgive him because he gives me the sad puppy eyes (I think I am being played)MLepp-

I know in my heart that your husband is a miracle man just like Joe and you two will make it through this. I am so glad you guys ‘fired’ the previous oncologist. Doctors should never play god, because they never know what is in your husband’s heart and how much he can fight this awful demon.JoeWillLive

My father in law takes marinol. Although it doesnt seem to be working that well for him, I heard that it worked wonders for others.

I am praying for you. Everything will be OK.
You are not being a wuss at all. I am so proud of you for being so strong through this incredibly rough road where it seems like there is barely any light. On top of that, you still think about your family’s feelings first. It shows how much of a caring person you are.If you need to tell your feelings, don’t hesitate. Afterall, keeping it to yourself only creates more stress and nothing else.
Again, I will be praying for you and everything is going to be O.K. Just keep believing.

JoeWillLiveHello everybody. he got scanned today, the official results (meaning all the analysis to see if the cancer has not spread, if the tumor is resectable, etc) will not be until June 16th. However, we got some great news!
His tumor was at 6 cm before treatment. It is now at 1.5cm!!!!!!! the doctors are amazed and think that the cancer might be scar tissue now! we are so delighted. I think I will post on “good news whats working” once we get the truly good news on the 16th
Thank you all for your support and prayers. I broke down and started crying like a baby when we got the initial good news. Its a very very good day
