    Dear Pat,

Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your wife Mary. I followed your blog through last year and avidly read your updates.

My Dad also had a liver resection last JUne but sadly his outcome was not good and he passed away 9 days after surgery….

Like Mary he had heart problems over many years but it was the CC that took him away from us.

Sending my thoughts to you and your family at this difficult time.

Good Morning Jack and welcome to ‘our world’, one where you will find supportive, caring and knowledgeable people.

I am sorry to hear that your tumour is on the large side, hoping for some shrinkage for you with the chemo.

Wishing you strength on your journey. I am very interested to hear more about the Life Extension Programme you mention. I will look in to that….

Please come back often and update us with your progress,

    Katie

    Matilda,

Like Janet and Marion have said, please try and make the journey to see your Dad and be with him….

I was with my Dad, holding his hand as he took his last breath in this world, it was the most incredibly painful moment but one I can’t imagine now not being there for.

I know all about not being able to sleep and eat as well….. Go, it may just in some small way help ypu to deal with what is happening….

    Thinking of you,

    Katie

    Jeff and Marc,

You are both welcome!! I too find this site inspiring and great support.

I sadly only found it after my Dad died last year but since then have made some great friends and check on here daily.

Good Luck to you both and enjoy your upcoming trips and visits.
